Floyd County Planning Commission
The Floyd-Floyd County Planning Commission serves both the County and Town of Floyd. The Planning Commission meets at 7 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at the Floyd County Administration building at 120 West Oxford Street in Floyd. The meeting is open to the public and includes a public comment period time.

Items to be considered by the Planning Commission must be submitted to the Subdivision Agent by the first Wednesday of that month, so that they can be sent out in the mailing to the Planning Commission.
Please note that the Planning Commission and Subdivision Agent have 60 days after receiving a complete plat package to review any plat. Furthermore, if state agency approval is needed, the Commission and Agent shall have an additional 45 days after receiving State Agency(s) opinion to complete the local review.
