Sealed Bid Auction – Lot 1
The County of Floyd will be auctioning off 15 vehicles in 1 lot.
One bid covers all the vehicles. Floyd County is selling these inoperable vehicles AS-IS with all faults.
The County has no knowledge of running condition of vehicles due to the lengthy time the vehicles have been siting.
All vehicles will be sold True Miles Unknown (TMU), due to vehicles not having ignition keys, etc.
Bidders are encouraged to inspect these vehicles in person before placing a bid.
All Sealed bids will need to be received by 9/24/2021 by 10:00 am, bids can be mailed to:

Winning bidder will have 24 hours to provide payment, or the lot goes to the next highest bidder.
All vehicles need to be removed from county property within 2 weeks of winning the bid.

Public Safety Voice Radio Communications System
Floyd County (County) intends to purchase and implement an integrated public safety wireless communication system that will provide first responders real time operable and interoperable voice and low speed data services that support day-to-day, mutual aid, and task force operations. American Rescue Plan Local Government Funds: Floyd County Grant Program
The Floyd County Board of Supervisors is pleased to announce their American Rescue Plan Local Grant program. This grant program will allow Floyd County governmental entities, area authorities, local businesses, and nonprofits the ability to compete for the use of $3.1 million the county will receive through the American Rescue Plan. DMV Connect/DMV Mobile Services will be suspended until further notice.
Due to COVID-19 DMV has had to implement new ways to serve customers to ensure safety of their customers and employees. As they are adjusting to the “new normal”, an executive decision was determined to suspend the field operations of DMV Connect until further notice. DMV understands the inconvenience this may have caused, and greatly appreciates your patience and understanding.
